This line of research has led to three conference and two journal publications. Experienced with AI algorithm development, cloud computing, and large-scale software development in both industrial and academic settings.
Research Experience
Before joining Vanderbilt, worked as an algorithm engineer (3D modeling) at KLA Corporation. In his Ph.D., primarily focused on AI research for automatic interpretation of clinical relevant incidental image data in routine lung cancer screening low-dose CT.
Education
A fourth-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science (Medical Image Analysis) at Vanderbilt University; previously received an M.Sc. in Computational Mathematics (Computational Fluid Dynamics) from the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Background
Research interest lies in artificial intelligence and computer vision applications in healthcare domain, especially in utilizing large-scale imaging studies to improve personalize medicine. Advised by Bennett Landman, PhD, and works closely with VUMC clinical experts Kim Sandler, MD, Fabien Maldonado, MD, MSc, and J. Jeffrey Carr, MD, MSc.
