- Published papers in IEEE TII, BMVC24, ML4H24, etc.; selected as outstanding reviewer at BMVC24; one co-authored survey paper on lower-limb exoskeletons accepted to IEEE SMC; a paper on Motor Imagery EEG accepted to JBHI and selected as Front Cover; organized a workshop focusing on wearables and healthcare robotics at ICRA24; awarded ICRA student travel grant; published a paper on long-tailed classification under domain shifts at ECCV 2022; won 2nd prize at Imperial Computing PhD Poster Competition; 3rd place in EPIC-Kitchens Action Anticipation CVPR 2022 Challenge.

- Started as a postdoctoral researcher at Oxford in 2023; involved in multiple research projects and published numerous papers in international conferences and journals.
Education
- Obtained a PhD degree in Computing in 2023, supervised by Dr Benny Lo and Prof Guang-Zhong Yang FREng CBE; previously obtained an MRes degree (Distinction & Dean's Prize) in Medical Robotics and Image Guided Intervention, also supervised by Dr Benny Lo and Prof Guang-Zhong Yang; BEng degree (Honors Student & National Scholarship) in Electronic Engineering from Fudan University in 2018, supervised by Prof Wei Chen.
Background
- Currently a Senior Research Associate at the Computational Health Informatics Lab, University of Oxford, working with Prof David Clifton. Also an honorary researcher at Oxford University Hospital and a Junior Research Fellow with Kellogg College, Oxford. Research interests focus on integrating pervasive sensing (wearable and ambient sensors) and deep learning for healthcare, addressing generalization issues in real-world applications.
Miscellany
- Sets aside one hour per week to mentor underrepresented students or anyone looking for guidance; gave talks on GenAI in Medicine; actively participates in organizing academic conferences and workshops.
