Research Experience
Currently an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science department at the University of Arizona, with a research affiliation at MIT CSAIL. Research spans from low-level core database performance optimization to high-level, application-specific machine learning techniques. Recent research focuses on building data management and analytics tools that satisfy the SAUL properties: Scalable, Automatic, Human-in-the-loop.
Education
Held a postdoc associate and research scientist position at MIT CSAIL, collaborating with Prof. Samuel Madden, Prof. Michael Stonebraker, Prof. Tim Kraska, and Dr. Michael Cafarella. Previously, worked as a Research Staff Member at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center.

Research interests include end-to-end optimization of agentic workflows, anomaly detection algorithms and systems, AI (LLM) for data management, distributed/cloud databases, and data lakes.
