Academic Achievements

Honored with the NLPCC Outstanding Paper Award and the Aminer AI-2000 Scholar, and served as area chairs or meta-reviewers for leading academic conferences including KDD, WWW, EMNLP, and CCKS.

- Currently a pre-tenure associate professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Beihang University, working with Prof. Shuai Ma. Previously, a senior scientist at Microsoft, where he worked on projects such as Microsoft Xiaoice, ChatwithBING, the Bing Retrieval/Generative Model, and WizardLM.

- Received a Ph.D. degree from Peking University in 2020, under the supervision of Prof. Dongyan Zhao; B. Eng degree from Sichuan University in 2015.

- Research interests include natural language processing and information retrieval, especially deep learning models with applications in dialogue systems, data intelligence, and effective and generalizable IR. The research vision is to flexibly and effectively usher humans into the world of knowledge through natural language.
