Research Experience
Before joining academia, worked as a software and DevOps engineer, involved in the development of large-scale web applications such as MangaMagazine.net and Inkblazers. Currently leads the ReaLearn research group focusing on Reasoning & Learning for Trustworthy AI.
Education
Holds two Ph.D. degrees, one in Information Science from JAIST and another in Engineering & Technology from Thammasat University. Has received multiple NRCT Doctoral Thesis Awards and Google Faculty Award, among others.
Background
Research interests include Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Trustworthy Machine Learning, Neuro-Symbolic AI, and Explainable AI. Currently an associate professor at the Advanced Institute of So-Go-Chi Informatics, Tohoku University, and a visiting associate professor at the School of Information Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST).
