Research Experience
From 2008 to 2009, he worked in the structured data research group at Google, Mountain View; from 2010 to 2013, he was a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University; in August 2013, he returned to Aalborg University; from January 2017 to November 2018, he served as the Ph.D. study director of the Technical Doctoral School of IT and Design, an independent unit established by the Technical Faculty of IT and Design.
Education
During the late 1980s and the 1990s, he was at the computer science departments at the University of Arizona (on sabbaticals) and the University of Maryland (as a Ph.D. student) for about five years.
