Postdoctoral researcher at RamosLab, University of Tübingen (Germany) from 2015 to 2019, focusing on developing neural interfaces to understand and restore the neural mechanisms underlying motor paralysis in patients suffering stroke and spinal cord injury.
Education
PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Zaragoza (Spain), supervised by Javier Minguez and Luis Montesano. The main objective of the PhD was to investigate and develop brain-machine interfaces (BMI) for motor rehabilitation and restoration to help patients with spinal cord injury.
Background
Research interests include machine learning, signal processing, and statistical methods applied to the field of neural engineering, with a special focus on neurorehabilitation. Aims at developing neuro-technologies that improve the quality of life of people.
