- Joined CNRS in 1991; 2003-2006: Deputy director of LRI (Laboratoire de Recherche en Informatique), located at University Paris-Saclay; 2005-2009: Management Committee Chair of the European COST Action 295 DYNAMO on Algorithmic Aspects of Dynamic Networks; 2010-2017: Director of LIAFA (Laboratoire d’Informatique Algorithmique) and IRIF (Institut de Recherche en Informatique Fondamentale), both located at Université Paris Cité; 2018-present: Head of the Distributed Computing group at IRIF; 2024-present: Co-chair of the national research group GdR IFM (Informatique Fondamentale et ses Mathématiques).

- Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from University Grenoble-Alpes in 1987; Engineer degree in Computer Science and Applied Maths from ENSIMAG in 1987; PhD in Computer Science from ENS Lyon in 1990; Habilitation in Computer Science from ENS Lyon in 1994.
