Previously, he was a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the University of Liverpool, UK, a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Technische Universität Berlin, Germany, and a Research Assistant at EURECOM, France.

Background
Research interests include information theory, communications, and machine learning. The research focus is on applying various mathematical tools to solve engineering problems in wireless communications and AI safety. Current areas of interest include: AI-driven Communications (AI4RAN), with a focus on MIMO transceivers, channel estimation/prediction, multi-cell/cell-free MU-MIMO precoding/resource allocation; Trustworthy AI, with a focus on the generalization and adversarial robustness of deep learning models and their applications in wireless communication systems; Graph Machine Learning, with a focus on the expressivity, generalization, and adversarial robustness of graph neural networks and their applications in wireless networks.
