  • Currently a PostDoc at Queen’s University Belfast, working within EEECS at the Centre for Secure IT; 2017-2018, worked on EPSRC project ADAMA; 2016/17, worked at the IT-Innovation Centre, part of Southampton University, on two EU H2020 projects 5G-ENSURE and RESTASSURED; 2013-2018, also worked on an EU PF7 project PRECYSE.

  • 2013-2018, PhD at Queen’s University Belfast with thesis titled ‘Methods for Modelling and Detecting Network-Based ICS Attacks’; 2009-2013, Undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Aberystwyth University, Wales, including a one-year industrial work placement (2012); 2007-2009, Higher National Diploma in Computing from Pembrokeshire College, in conjunction with University of Glamorgan, now part of the University of South Wales. Completed CISCO’s CCNA certification in 2006.

  • Research interests include: Network protocols and networking architectures, Information-Centric Networking, Privacy-preserving communication systems, Intrusion Detection Systems (both host and network), Securing open-source and free-software, Industrial control and IIoT security issues.
