- Before joining Zhejiang University, he was a senior researcher in the Computer Vision and Geometry Group at ETH Zurich, working with Prof. Marc Pollefeys.

- Received Master's degree from Xidian University in 2012; Ph.D. candidate under Prof. Ping Tan at National University of Singapore; later continued Ph.D. studies under Prof. Ping Tan at Simon Fraser University.
