More than 10 papers have won best paper awards or finalists from organizations like the 2025 IISE Transactions Best Paper Award (Design and Manufacturing Focus Issue). Recipient of three prestigious early-career awards, including the 2025 ASQ Feigenbaum Medal, 2025 IISE Dr. Hamed K. Eldin Outstanding Early Career IE in Academia Award, and 2024 SME Susan Smyth Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award. - Current research interests include industrial data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence for modeling, monitoring, control, diagnosis, and optimization in smart manufacturing systems. She is currently an Assistant Professor with the Smart Manufacturing Thrust and Data Science and Analytics Thrust at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), China. She is also affiliated with The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong SAR, China, and Guangzhou HKUST Fok Ying Tung Research Institute, Guangzhou, China.
