Student Chuanzhe received the College of Engineering's Excellent Bachelor Thesis Award; Dawei was offered an opportunity to visit Prof. Yu Xie's group at Princeton University.
Research Experience
Gave talks or co-chaired sessions at multiple academic conferences in 2023, such as guiding student Chuanzhe to present a game-theoretic model of international relations at 2023 CDC, delivering a keynote talk on dynamic structural balance at 2023 YAC, etc.
Education
Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanics and Engineering Science, Peking University; Postdoc researcher in the Automatic Control Laboratory at ETH Zurich, supervised by Prof. Florian Dorfler; Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, under the supervision of Prof. Francesco Bullo.
Background
Research interests include modeling, analysis, and control of network dynamical systems, such as network games and evolutionary dynamics, dynamics on/of social networks (e.g., opinion dynamics, dynamic structural balance), competitive decision making, and group task allocation and learning.
