Research Experience
Leads the colaps research group at the University of Duisburg-Essen, which aims to explore the use of computational data analytics, specifically machine-learning and data mining, to support learning from perspectives of personalization and adaptation, relating to tutoring feedback and scaffolding.

Currently, a Professor at the Department of Human-centered Computing and Cognitive Science, Faculty of Computer Science, University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. Her research focuses on computational learning analytics for technology-enhanced learning, Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED), and educational technologies. Main research interest lies in modeling learners' behavior to provide adaptive and personalized feedback.
