- Assistant Professor at Harvard Business School in the Technology and Operations Management (TOM) unit and a co-principal investigator of the Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard (LISH) at the Digital Data and Design (D^3) Institute at Harvard. My research examines the barriers and enablers of technological and scientific innovation, focusing on the early stages of the innovation process, where uncertainty is highest and the consequences of evaluation decisions are most profound. Through field experiments with leading organizations, I investigate how novel ideas emerge, develop, and get evaluated across technological innovation, scientific research, and entrepreneurship. My current work explores evaluation design and the potential of human-AI collaboration to enhance decision-making capabilities in these contexts.
