Research Experience
Served as a Research Director at Inria and Visiting Faculty Member at NYU from 2017 to 2022; Director of the Department of Computer Science of ENS from 2011 to 2017; held positions at Inria, MIT, Stanford, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was a Full Professor until 2005.

Brief bio: Jean Ponce is a Professor at the Department of Computer Science of Ecole normale supérieure - PSL (ENS) and a Global Distinguished Professor at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences and the Center for Data Science of New York University (NYU). He also serves as Scientific Director of the PRAIRIE Interdisciplinary AI Research Institute in Paris and is a co-founder and CEO of Enhance Lab.
