Student advisory:
(1) Students seeking letters of recommendation should contact me at least two weeks in advance to avoid disappointment, delays, and missed deadlines. LoRs are given only to those who have spent substantial time in my lab, received an AP grade in my course, or overcome an adversity.
(2) IITB students seeking to work on projects with me are advised to ask my PhD students in MeDAL lab about their work and learn ML, DL, and pytorch on their own before approaching me.
(3) Expectations from BTP, SRE, RnD, Seminar: Spend a few hours working in the lab every single week for peer learning. Working in isolation is unlikely to result in good progress.
(4) I do not offer internships to students from outside IITB (sorry, overwhelmed) but they can learn DS, ML, DL by following lectures and doing assignments of this comprehensive online course.
