Academic Achievements
Led several projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, such as 'Multi-modal Sensing based Activity Recognition on Mobile Devices'. Published multiple papers in international conferences like NeurIPS and ACM MM, focusing on areas such as sign language video generation and sentence-level segmentation for long sign language videos.
Research Experience
From Jul. 2017 to Jun. 2023, worked as an assistant and associate researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Nanjing University.
Education
Received a Ph.D. from Nanjing University in 2017, supervised by Prof. Sanglu Lu and Prof. Lei Xie; received a BE degree from Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2011. From Sep. 2014 to Sep. 2015, was a visiting research scholar at the Department of Computer Science, College of William and Mary, supervised by Prof. Qun Li, and partially sponsored by China Scholarship Council (CSC).
Background
Research interests include Intelligent Sensing and Visual Computing, multimodal sensing and learning, human activity recognition, sign language translation and generation.
