Academic Achievements
  • Participates in an ARPA-H grant led by Mark Skylar-Scott to bioprint a human heart. Developed the SimVascular open-source project.
Research Experience
  • Leads the Cardiovascular Biomechanics Computation Lab at Stanford, including graduate students, postdocs, and staff scientists. Collaborates closely with cardiologists, radiologists, surgeons, computational scientists, and bioengineers at Stanford and around the world to translate computational cardiovascular modeling tools to the clinical setting.
