Academic Achievements
  • Recent areas of interest include blockchains, cryptocurrency, and smart contracts, as well as applied cryptography, user authentication, and privacy. Author of two novels: The Oracle (Talos Press, 2024) and Tetraktys (Emerald Bay Books, 2009). Supervised several PhD students and visiting scientists.

  • Served as the Chief Scientist of RSA, Director of RSA Laboratories, and a Distinguished Engineer at EMC (now Dell EMC) until 2013.
