Academic Achievements
Published a work on evaluating XAI for medical image tasks, accepted at AAAI 2022. Awarded one of ten Borealis AI Global Fellowships of $10,000. Co-organized the Interpretable ML in Healthcare workshop at ICML22.
Research Experience
Conducting research at Dr. Hamarneh’s Medical Image Analysis Lab, focusing on developing end-user-centered explainable AI and how to use it to augment clinical decision-making based on medical image tasks. Proposed Clinical Explainable AI Guidelines based on systematic evaluation and user studies with neurosurgeons.
Education
Received a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Peking University and completed residency training in Neurology. Currently pursuing a PhD at Dr. Hamarneh’s Medical Image Analysis Lab, Computing Science, Simon Fraser University.
