Academic Achievements

Awards include Sloan Research Fellowship (2015), NSF CAREER award (2017), DOE Early Career award (2017), SIAM CSE Early Career award (2017), PECASE (2019), ACM Gordon Bell prize (Team) (2020), Simons Investigator in Mathematics (2021). Selected as an Outstanding Referee by APS in 2025, and will be an invited speaker at ICM 2026.

Research Interests: Solving quantum many-body problems via both classical and quantum algorithms, with applications in quantum chemistry, quantum physics, materials science, and quantum information theory.
