Published several conference and workshop papers, including 'Pixnapping: Bringing Pixel Stealing out of the Stone Age' (CCS, 2025), 'Unencrypted Flying Objects: Security Lessons from University Small Satellite Developers and Their Code' (USENIX VehicleSec 2025), etc. Won Pwnie Award 2024 for Best Cryptographic Attack.
Research Experience
Assistant Professor in the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington, co-directs the Security and Privacy Research Lab. Taught multiple courses such as CSE484 Computer Security and Privacy, CSE564 Graduate Computer Security and Privacy, etc.

Research interests span software security, systems, and hardware architecture. Particularly interested in how hardware design and implementation impacts high-level software security.
