The lab currently supports over 35 PhD researchers. Kaushik has supervised and graduated over 100 PhD students and 27 MS students to date. Major sponsors include Intel, IBM, HP, SRC, NSF, DARPA, IARPA, and more.
Research Experience
The primary focus of research is neuromorphic computing and deep learning algorithms, stochastic computing, coupled-oscillatory systems, energy efficient deep learning/neuromorphic hardware, neuro-mimetic devices, and device/circuit/algorithm co-design.
