Academic Achievements
- Published in leading venues on topics such as remote health sensing (WACV, NeurIPS), 3D reconstruction (ECCV, MICCAI), LLM-based conversational agents for personal health (EMNLP, Nature Communications), and energy-efficient operation of smart glasses (ISMAR). Presented HealthChat paper as an oral presentation at ML4H in November 2025. Successfully defended thesis and submitted dissertation in October 2025, planning to start a postdoc in Ehsan Adeli's STAI Lab in February 2026.
Research Experience
- Currently a visiting researcher at IDSIA USI-SUPSI, working with Professor Piotr Didyk, while being part-time at Google AR/VR. Previously interned at Google AR/VR, Google Consumer Health Research, and Kitware.

- PhD student in Computer Science at UNC Chapel Hill, advised by Professor Henry Fuchs.
Background
- Research interests lie at the intersection of digital health, computer vision, and machine learning. Working towards a future where next-generation healthcare systems improve the entire patient journey, from advanced diagnostic imaging and surgical support to all-day health monitoring and management, to achieve better therapeutic outcomes for cancer and aging-related diseases. Interested in opportunities that allow deepening research expertise while leading and working on projects with meaningful, positive real-world impact, especially in areas such as healthcare and environmental sustainability.
