Published multiple papers, including one in Nature on reprogrammable DNA self-assembly, and papers on theoretical molecular robotics, Collatz process, and theoretical tile-assembly. Involved in several research projects such as EIC's DISCO, SFI's Active DNA tiles, and ERC's Active-DNA. Received funding from Science Foundation Ireland.
Research Experience
Led a research group at Inria (2016-2018), was a Senior Research Fellow at Caltech (2009-2016) working with Erik Winfree and Shuki Bruck, and held postdoc positions at the University of Seville, University College Cork, and the Boole Centre for Research in Informatics.
