After completing his PhD, he did a two-year post-doc period at the Robotics Institute in Carnegie Mellon University, where he was advised by Prof. Katia Sycara.

He did both his graduate and undergraduate studies at the Computer Science department at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. His PhD thesis was titled 'Concurrent Search for Distributed Constraint Satisfaction problems' and was advised by Prof. Amnon Meisels.
