Academic Achievements
  • Published over 100 papers in leading IEEE journals, including IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking and IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management, as well as flagship conferences such as IEEE ICC, PIMRC, VTC, and WCNC. Her work has an h-index of 20, i10-index 33, with more than 1,800 citations. She has held leadership positions in academia and professional societies, including Associate Editor for IEEE Communications Letters (2021–2024) and IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society (2021–2023), receiving the Exemplary Editor Award in 2023.   • From 2015 to 2020, she was a Lecturer at Khalifa University and a Research Associate at the KU Center for Cyber-Physical Systems (C2PS). From 2019 to 2020, she served as a Visiting Research Associate with the Communications, Sensing and Imaging (CSI) group at the University of Glasgow.

  • Completed her B.Sc. (Honors) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the United Arab Emirates University, Al-Ain, UAE, in 2008 (full scholarship). Earned her M.Sc. from Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE, in 2012 (full scholarship). Obtained her Ph.D. from the 5G/6G Innovation Centre, University of Surrey, Guildford, UK, in 2018.

  • Expert in green wireless systems, IoT, and AI-enabled resource optimization for beyond 5G/6G networks. She is an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) at the James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow, UK, leading a multi-million-pound research portfolio.
