Published multiple academic papers, including 'Stack Overflow Meets Replication: Security Research Amid Evolving Code Snippets' and 'Permission Rationales in the Web Ecosystem: An Exploration of Rationale Text and Design Patterns.' Won Best Paper Award at CHI'25. Participated in various academic service roles, such as Program Co-Chair for USEC'25, WAY'21, and served on program committees for several top security conferences.
Research Experience
Since December 2021, tenured faculty at CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security, heading the Trusted Systems Group. From July 2018 to December 2021, led the same group as a tenure-track faculty, and from June 2016 to July 2018, as a Research Group Leader.

Background
Research Interests: Mobile operating system security, trusted computing, usable security. Background: In past projects, focused on mandatory access control systems for the Android OS and integrating hardware security building blocks into mobile operating systems. Interest has extended to object-capability systems and developing new confidential computing solutions. Recently also working at the intersection of these topics with human-centered studies, authentication, and data science.
