Received a Veni personal grant from NWO for the project 'Explainable Formal Methods with Certificates'; co-authored a paper 'AuDaLa is Turing Complete' accepted at FORTE 2024; won the best paper award at CONCUR 2025 for the paper 'Compositional Active Learning of Synchronizing Systems through Automated Alphabet Refinement'.
Research Experience
Currently an Assistant Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Formal System Analysis group and the Managing Director of the IPA research school. Previously, a postdoc at Royal Holloway, University of London, working on the CLeVer project involving model learning of concurrent automata.
Education
PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in the FSA group, with a thesis titled 'Reductions for Parity Games and Model Checking' which received the IPA dissertation award; completed both bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Twente.
Background
Research interests include the analysis of concurrent behavior and its associated scalability problems, symbolic techniques in model checking, syntactic transformations for reduction, and partial-order reduction. Other areas of interest are fixpoint logics, parallel programming, and automata learning.
