Research Experience
Researcher at the University of Lübeck, Germany (2009-2013); Researcher at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science, Sweden (2008-2009). During his post-doctoral activities, he visited Thiemo Voigt's group at Uppsala University, Mun Choon Chan's group at the National University of Singapore, Yuan He's group at Tsinghua University, and Gian Pietro Picco's group at the University of Trento.
Education
Received 'Venia Docendi' in 'Embedded Systems' from TU Graz in 2020, with a Habilitation thesis entitled 'Technologies and Tools for the Design of Dependable Networked Embedded Systems'; Obtained a doctoral degree from TU Graz in 2016, under the supervision of Kay Römer, with a thesis titled 'Dependable Wireless Sensor Networks'.
Background
Research interests: Design of dependable and sustainable networked embedded systems, with a strong focus on the efficiency and reliability of low-power wireless communications, as well as the robustness of IoT networking protocols against environmental influences.
