Research Experience
  • Currently a Professor in Software Engineering at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Institute at the University of Southern Denmark, Vice-Head of Research for SDU Software Engineering and Centre for Industrial Software, and Head of software education at SDU. Also active in Digital Research Centre Denmark (DIREC) and the Danish Data Science Academy.

  • Professor in Software Engineering with a focus on software engineering and data science, particularly in applications for ubiquitous computing and cyber-physical systems. Contributed new methods for human sensing, data analytics, and the optimization of software qualities including performance, usability, integration, energy efficiency, and privacy protection.
