Co-authored the 2021 book 'The Age of AI: And Our Human Future'. Conducted interviews about the book with Eric Schmidt on Hidden Forces podcast and CHM Live conversation. Developed a number of algorithmically-oriented computer vision techniques, such as super-pixel segmentation method and Hausdorff distance methods.
Research Experience
Served as a Computer Science faculty member at Cornell, researcher and manager at Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), and CTO of a fintech startup. Led a team at Cornell that developed one of the first self-driving cars for the DARPA Urban Challenge.
