Published multiple papers including a comparison of ferret brain auditory processing and artificial neural networks in Nature Communications Biology, and scaling style captions for text-to-speech to 10M pairs presented at NeurIPS 2025.
Research Experience
Completed two internships at Apple (August 2024 & August 2025), focusing on research into audio foundation models and developing on-device audio reasoning models for multimodal interaction.
Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, working under Professor Mounya Elhilali on AI and brain-inspired models to decode how we hear and process sound. Also enjoys painting and mixing music.
