- Fellow of ACM and AAAS. Served as Program Chair (1999) and General Chair (2010) of PLDI. Member of SIGPLAN Executive Committee. Council member of Computing Community Consortium (CCC) between 2014 and 2020. Co-founded CRA-Industry committee in 2021 and currently co-chair. Received the SIGPLAN Distinguished Service Award in 2021.
