Academic Achievements
- The work of the lab is funded by grants from Google, Amazon, Bloomberg Research, and The Data Lab; papers accepted at SIGIR, ECIR, and KDD; won 2nd prize in the Alexa Prize TaskBot Challenge 2.
Research Experience
- The GRILL Lab is a research group that develops new methods for machine understanding of natural language text and data. Starting in Autumn 2023, it became part of the University of Edinburgh School of Informatics. Previously, it was part of the School of Computing Science at the University of Glasgow.
