Academic Achievements
  • Published multiple papers in top conferences and journals such as ICML, ACL, IJCAI, etc. Hosted tutorials on model reuse at AAAI 2024 with Yao-Xiang Ding and on continual learning at IJCAI 2023 with Ying Wei and Da-Wei Zhou. Released several open-source toolboxes and benchmarks, including Tabular Data Learning Toolbox TALENT, Multilingual Multimodal Large Language Model Parrot, and more.
Research Experience
  • (Pre-Tenure) Associate Professor at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Nanjing University. Conducted M.Sc. and Ph.D. research in the LAMDA Group and visited USC LA for research collaboration.
Education
  • Received B.Sc. degree from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China in June 2013. Then became an M.Sc. student in the LAMDA Group led by Professor Zhi-Hua Zhou at Nanjing University. Started Ph.D. in machine learning under the supervision of Prof. Yuan Jiang and Prof. De-Chuan Zhan from Sept. 2015. Visited Prof. Fei Sha's group at the University of Southern California, LA during 2017-2018. Received his PhD degree in May 2019.
