Academic Achievements
- Led 5 National Natural Science Foundation projects (key, general, and youth), 2 major projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and nearly 20 provincial and ministerial-level research projects and corporate commissioned projects. Published over 50 papers in authoritative journals such as Nature Synthesis, National Science Review, IEEE TRO, and IEEE/ASME TMECH. Authored one book and applied for over 50 national invention patents. Won the Best Poster Award at the Chinese Robotics Academic Conference, the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Advanced Robotics (IEEE-ICARM), the Best Paper Nomination Award at the IEEE-ROBIO, and the Best Paper Nomination Award at the IEEE-ICIA.
Research Experience
- Served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Automation at the University of Science and Technology of China starting from June 2010. Conducted visiting research in the Department of Computing Science at the University of Alberta, Canada, from December 2013 to December 2014. Appointed as a Professor in the Department of Automation at the University of Science and Technology of China starting from January 2025.

- Graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China in June 2008 with a Ph.D. in Engineering. Conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Science and Technology of China from June 2008 to June 2010.

Research interests include robotics and artificial intelligence, mainly involving robotic chemists, mobile manipulation robots, dual-arm collaborative robots, cable-driven parallel robots, industrial robots, autonomous learning of robots, and AI for Science.
