- Main research field is black-box optimization, especially in continuous domain. Interested in stochastic search algorithms such as covariance matrix adaptation evolution strategies (CMA-ES). Works on theoretical analysis of stochastic search algorithms, design principles for efficient algorithms, and real-world applications.
