Currently working as a Researcher at the SPEECH team of Computer Research Institute of Montreal (CRIM) and also hold an adjunct professor position at INRS-EMT (Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique - Énergie Matériaux Télécommunications), Montreal, Canada. From June 2021, appointed as an affiliate associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.

Research interests are in the broad areas of signal/speech processing, deep learning, voice & multi-modal biometrics, robust representation learning, self-supervised representation learning, domain adaptation & domain generalization, deepfake detection, speaker verification anti-spoofing, speaker/language/speech/emotion recognition, speech enhancement/denoising, speaker diarization/clustering and applications of speech in healthcare.
