- Currently working as a Researcher at the SPEECH team of Computer Research Institute of Montreal (CRIM) and also hold an adjunct professor position at INRS-EMT (Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique - Énergie Matériaux Télécommunications), Montreal, Canada. From June 2021, appointed as an affiliate associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.

- Research interests are in the broad areas of signal/speech processing, deep learning, voice & multi-modal biometrics, robust representation learning, self-supervised representation learning, domain adaptation & domain generalization, deepfake detection, speaker verification anti-spoofing, speaker/language/speech/emotion recognition, speech enhancement/denoising, speaker diarization/clustering and applications of speech in healthcare.
