Academic Achievements
  • Founded ZCCL.org, which introduced the first compression-accelerated collective communications library – ZCCL; presented papers at ICS2025, HPDC '25, and other international conferences; awarded the 2024 ACM Software System Award; multiple papers accepted by IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems (TPDS); won the First Place Award at ACM Student Research Competition (Graduate) in SC23.

  • Currently an Assistant Professor in the Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing at the University of South Florida (USF). Leads the High Performance & Intelligence Lab (Pi Lab or π Lab), focusing on building high-performance systems for large-scale artificial intelligence and scientific applications.
