Research Experience
  • Currently an Assistant Researcher & Post Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, working in the Image, Video, and Multimedia Communications (IVM) Laboratory headed by Prof. Hongkai Xiong. Research focuses on multimedia communication and optimization, especially video coding and processing techniques at the source side and communication-related techniques within a specific network, exploring their combination in a feasible and efficient way. Current research topics include: Application of distributed robust optimization in wired and wireless video transmission; Compressive sensing based networked video transmission.
Education
  • Received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2007, 2009, and 2015, respectively.
Background
  • Research interests lie in the field of multimedia communication and optimization, particularly focusing on network-oriented image/video processing and communication, as well as network-based optimization for video sources. With over six years of research experience, more than ten journal/conference papers have been published on these topics.
