Published multiple papers such as 'SHADE-AD: An LLM-Based Framework for Synthesizing Activity Data of Alzheimer’s Patients' (SenSys 2025) and 'mAP: Abandoned Properties Detection using Multifaceted Urban Service Data' (ICDE 2025). Won several awards, including the Best Paper Award at ACM/IEEE ICCPS 2021 ('DeResolver: A Decentralized Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Framework for Smart City Services') and FORMATS 2022 ('An STL-based Formulation of Resilience in Cyber-Physical Systems'). Has led or participated in various research grants from NSF and other institutions.

Currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Stony Brook University, with affiliation to the Department of Computer Science. Research projects include network security, smart hospitals, mobile cyber-physical systems, and more.

PhD in Computer Science, advised by Professor John A. Stankovic at the University of Virginia. Joined Stony Brook University as an assistant professor in August 2014.

Research Interests: Networked systems, feedback control-based design for cyber-physical systems and sensor systems. Works on wireless network protocols, interoperable medical devices, smart transportation systems, and intelligent sensing systems. Broadly interested in computer networks, distributed computing, networked information systems, sensor systems, and robotics.
