Released a large-scale dataset for robotic grasp detection known as the Jacquard dataset; developed the LIRIS-ACCEDE dataset, which consists of a large number of movie excerpts shared under Creative Commons licenses, provided together with their emotional annotation.
Research Experience
Has been an Associate Professor at Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France, since 2004, conducting research activities in the LIRIS laboratory (CNRS UMR 5205).
Education
Awarded a Master's and Engineering degrees in Computer Science from the Université de Tours, France, in 2000, followed by a Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2003. Obtained the Habilitation to Drive Research (HDR) in 2020 from Université Lyon 1, France.
