- Currently an NLP lead data scientist at the AI Innovation center of Volkswagen Group at Data:Lab Munich and a post-doctoral researcher at Helmholtz Center for Infection Research
- During his PhD, collaborated closely with the Deep NLP group at the University of Munich (LMU) and the Helmholtz Center for Infection Research, directed by Prof. Hinrich Schütze and Prof. Alice McHardy respectively

Background
Research interests include Language Processing, Bioinformatics, and Digital Humanities. Since August 2014, I have been the director of the Life Language Processing project under the supervision of Professor Mofrad at the Cell Biomechanics Laboratory at UC Berkeley.
