Academic Achievements
  • Published over 70 papers in international conferences and journals. Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Image Processing since 2018. Received the IBM Faculty Award in 2015, the IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems Outstanding Paper Award in 2016, the Nokia Visiting Professor Scholarship in 2017, and an nVidia Applied Research Grant in 2021. Also received multiple best paper awards, such as the Best Paper Award at ICIAP 2023.
Research Experience
  • Teaching PhD courses on image processing and classification at Politecnico di Milano and Tampere University since 2016. Leading several industrial research projects related to image understanding and anomaly detection with STMicroelectronics, Gilardoni Raggi X, and Cisco.
