Research Experience
Serves as the Director of the Center for Health System Solutions at UWM, also the Director of the Health Care Informatics graduate program, and the Director of the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence programs at UWM. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Background
Research interests include big data and predictive analysis, natural language processing, patient-centered health app development, text mining and information extraction, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. His research aims to improve healthcare by using these computing technologies to provide intelligent decision support for clinicians, medical researchers, patients, and policymakers.
