Currently a PhD student in Statistics at Carnegie Mellon University, focusing on developing new statistical and machine learning methods for complex data such as texts and shapes.
Background
Research interests include Statistical Theory, Machine Learning, Topological Data Analysis, and Natural Language Processing. Prior to starting his PhD, he received a Master's from École Normale Supérieure and a Master's from the University of Oxford, where he was interested in studying how persistent homology could be used to help understand knotted proteins.
