- Research interests include the animation of characters and natural phenomena to populate virtual worlds. Develop computational models to replicate the behavior and appearance of real-world phenomena and people. Another research direction is the study of methods to create, interact with, and understand visual data. Combines ideas from computer graphics, virtual and augmented reality, computer vision, applied physics, and machine learning.
