Academic Achievements
  • Received the ISPRS Giuseppe Inghilleri Award (first Chinese recipient), Best Innovation Award at the International Mobile Mapping Technology Conference, and five provincial and ministerial-level science and technology progress awards. Published numerous academic papers in journals and conferences such as ISPRS-JPRS, IEEE TGRS, IEEE TITS, PR, CVPR, IJCAI, and AAAI.
Research Experience
  • After graduation, he served as a lecturer and associate professor at the College of Electronic Science and Technology (2002-2011). Joined Xiamen University's School of Informatics as a professor in 2011 (2011-present). Currently, he is a distinguished professor at Xiamen University and the director of the Key Laboratory of Smart City Perception and Computing, Fujian Province.

  • Bachelor of Information Engineering from the Department of Electronics, National University of Defense Technology (1997), and Doctor of Information and Communication Engineering from the College of Electronic Science and Technology (2002).
